I'll meet myself when I get there (2024)

''I'll Meet Myself When I Get There'' is what happens when I let my intuition guide me. Since this is my very first composition, I felt that I had not yet met this new part of myself. The process of creating this work was, for me, a first step toward discovering what I want to say, what I want to evoke, and how I want to do it.

For me, these are ideas of simplicity, wonder, tenderness, and nostalgia with five melodicas. I was mainly inspired by the feelings that came over me after reading the poem "Every Time I Ever Said I Want to Die" by Andrea Gibson.
